Quan Yin is the Asian goddess of mercy and compassion.

In Sanskrit she's known as Padma Pani - "Born of the Lotus"

Quan Yin (Kuan Yin or Guan Yin) is the bodhisattva of great compassion. Quan Yin is a gender-fluid symbol, as she is the feminine version of the masculine Avalokiteshvara (Chenezig in Tibetan). She has many different incarnations and is often portrayed seated or standing holding a lotus flower or a vase of water.

Quan Yin is a goddess of compassion, love, healing & abundance. She is known by many names now such as Guan Yin, Kwan Yin, Quan Yin, Moon Kuan Yin, etc. She guides us to release judgments about self and others, and focus on the love and light that is within everyone. Kuan Yin represents the power of gentleness.
